DVA- Funded Psychological Care & Trauma Recovery
Supportive, Trauma-Informed Care for Defence Personnel and Veterans
Transitioning out of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) or living with the lingering impacts of service often means navigating complex challenges—from PTSD, anxiety, and depression to moral injury and the loss of personal identity.
As Clinical Psychologists, we provide compassionate, trauma-informed psychological therapy for current and former ADF personnel across Australia via telehealth. We work alongside your GP and support network to provide structured care tailored to your individual goals.

Why Choose Our Practice for Your DVA Care?
Navigating mental health support after or during military service requires more than standard clinical tools—it requires clinicians who understand the culture, the system, and the weight of the work.
We do not focus on high-volume psychiatric assessments and compensation reports, our practice is built around dedicated, ongoing therapeutic care. We focus on helping you process trauma, rebuild identity, and restore personal well-being in a safe, consistent environment.
1. Deep Military & Veteran Experience
With years of focused clinical work within DVA systems, our team understands the unique pressures of Defence life, the transition to civilian status, and the administrative pathways of DVA funding. You won't need to spend your sessions explaining military culture or how the system works—we are ready to support you from day one.
2. Trauma & IFS Expertise
We employ Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR—modalities exceptionally well-suited for veterans. Rather than viewing hypervigilance, emotional numbing, or protective behaviors as faults, IFS helps you understand how these responses served you in high-stress environments, providing a non-pathologising framework to process trauma, moral injury, and distress.
3. Experienced Clinical Foundations
Our background spans complex clinical environments, including acute mental health care and child protection services. We are equipped to handle high-complexity trauma, moral injury, and acute distress with calm, structured, and compassionate care.
4. Continuous, Relational Care (Not a Rotating Panel)
You work directly with experienced Clinical Psychologists who manage your care from start to finish. We build a consistent therapeutic relationship tailored to your pace, rather than passing you between different clinicians or assessors.
5. 100% Direct DVA Billing & Telehealth Convenience
We handle all billing directly through the DVA Treatment Cycle with zero out-of-pocket gap fees for eligible Gold and White cardholders. Delivered via secure online telehealth across Australia, you can access care with complete privacy from the comfort of your home.
DVA Funding & Gap-Free Consultations
We offer DVA-funded psychological consultations billed directly to the Department of Veterans' Affairs under the DVA Treatment Cycle, meaning zero out-of-pocket gap fees for eligible cardholders.
Veteran Gold Card Holders: Fully covered for clinically necessary psychological treatment across mental health conditions.
Veteran White Card Holders: Fully covered for accepted service-related conditions, as well as general mental health treatment (such as PTSD, anxiety, or depression) under DVA Non-Liability Health Care (NLHC) arrangements.
Clinical Approaches We Offer
We employ evidence-based psychological modalities tailored to support recovery and long-term well-being:
Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy: An approach focused on helping individuals explore internal conflict, hypervigilance, protective behaviours, and emotional pain in a non-pathologising environment.
EMDR & Trauma-Informed Therapy: Structured approaches to help process distressing memories, service-related trauma, and body-held stress responses.
Identity & Life Transition Support: Clinical support to help rebuild purpose, agency, and meaningful connection during and after military service.
